CLIPPER

Affiliate disclosure

The short version: when you click an outbound store link on Clipper and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. That commission is how the project pays its bills instead of charging members or selling placements.

The specifics

Clipper participates in affiliate programs including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (as an Amazon Associate, Clipper earns from qualifying purchases) and affiliate networks such as CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction), impact.com brand programs, and Sovrn Commerce. Outbound links to stores may be automatically converted to tracking links by these programs.

Clipper also has a travel lane — Ports of Call. Flight, stay, and other travel searches there are powered by the Travelpayouts partnership network (including Aviasales, Trip.com, Tiqets, and Klook). When you tap through and book, the ship may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Travel prices shown on Clipper are cached observations from partner feeds, stamped with when we checked — they are never live quotes, and the booking page always sets the final fare. We never claim a price is "the cheapest," only the best of what we actually saw.

What money never touches

Commissions do not change what we report. Codes are ranked by evidence — real checkout receipts from real people — never by what a merchant pays. Dead codes stay published in the graveyard even when the merchant is one we earn from. No brand can pay to have a failure removed, and no code's "working" status is for sale at any price.

What we won't do

If a store link you reach through Clipper already carries someone else's affiliate tag — a creator you follow, a review site that sent you here first — we pass it through untouched and earn nothing. We never overwrite another person's credit to take it for ourselves. That practice, common enough that it drew federal scrutiny across the coupon industry, is one we refuse on principle.

Where you'll see it

Any page with outbound store links carries a disclosure line near the links, per FTC guidance. If you ever find a page where that's missing, tell us: inquire@clipper.deals.
